I am Doctoral student in the field of Metrial Engineering at the Department of Materials Engineering and Production Technology, University of Oulu, Finland. In fact, I am one of the PhD students in the Marie-Sklodowska Curie project ‘MIMESIS’ (Mathematics and Materials Science for Steel Production and Manufacturing), which is an European Industrial Doctoral program. My research is mainly focuseed on Novel gradient wear materials. I am pursuing my PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. David Porter and Biornar Grande.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

I'm working on the texture and EBSD investigation of heat resistance steel during aging or long time service exposure. Electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) is a microstructural-crystallographic characterisation technique to study any crystalline or polycrystalline material.

Crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) is the displacement at the original crack tip and the 90° intercept. A CTOD test is usually done on materials that undergoes plastic deformation prior to failure.
